Jordy Waelauruw, a Mollucan trumpet player and music producer based in Jakarta. His passion in music began at the age of 7 by exploring numbers of musical instruments and finally ended up choosing trumpet as his main instrument. He started his early musical career during his school time in Sekolah Menengah Music Perguruna Cikini by collaborating with some of the finest musicians in Indonesia, namely Trio Lestari (Glenn Fredly, Tompi, Sandhy Sandhoro), Barry Likumahuwa Project, KLA Project, Benny Likumahuwa Jazz Connection, RAN, Gugun Blues Shelter, and Raisa.

In 2017, he launched his first salbum called Stand Still with some of the hit single namely With You, and got nominated for Anugerah Music Awards in the category of Best New Comer.

Recently, he is continuing his journey by producing his own music, with his latest EP called “Cold-Cold Sessions” and working side by side arranging horns with other fellow musicians such as Maliq and D’Essentials, Laleilmanino, Ruth Sahanaya, Diskoria Selekta, Kaleb J & PJ Morton, and many more.

He aims to promote the richness of Mollucas ethnicity and music to the world through his music and achievements.
