The Erasmus Huis is the cultural center of the Netherlands in Jakarta and a meeting place for everyone. With a focus on musical programs and exhibitions, the Erasmus Huis has built a reputation as a vibrant and easily accessible cultural center. They also offer dance, films, and lectures. They welcome the exchange of knowledge, experiences, and ideas.
ERASMUS HUIS X THE PAPANDAYAN JAZZ
Many Dutch artists perform each year at The Papandayan Jazz Fest and collaborate with Indonesian artists. On The Papandayan International Online Jazz Competition 2021, Erasmus Huis supports with the involvement of Ben Van Gelder, an Alto Saxophonist from the Netherlands as part of the panel of judges. Erasmus Huis also sponsored cash prizes to the TPJC winner and arranged a collaboration for the winner with Dutch jazz band.
Through their support for music, Erasmus Huis implements its vision by accomodating Indonesian arts, artists, and groups, providing place and space to welcome the exchange of knowledge and ideas for greater relations between the two nations.
